Houston Texans OLB Jadaveon Clowney: Now of course, we have to wait for the 2x Pro Bowler to report to the team, but when he does he will have a huge effect on this team. With JJ Watt consistently drawing double, Clowney has the opportunity to fly around out there and make plays. I think this is the year that he reaches double-digit sack totals, and takes the Texans defense to another level.

Indianapolis Colts S Malik Hooker: I’ve always been a fan of Hooker, who I thought had ideal center field type qualities when he was drafted out of THE Ohio State. In 21 games, Hooker has 5 interceptions, and if he is able to play a full season he could match that total in 2019. Andrew Luck and his health are another thing Colts fans must be watching closely this year, because unfortunately Jacoby Brissett won’t be getting them into the Playoffs.

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Nick Foles: FINALLY the Blake Bortles experiment is over. We all know what Nick Foles did when he took over for Carson Wentz in 2017, but can he do it in Jacksonville? His running game should be strong, if Leonard Fournette can stay healthy, and he has a few nice options in Marqise Lee, Dede Wesbrook, and DJ Chark. If Foles can be even a decent Quarterback, the Jaguars should be able to win a few games, and even the division.

Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry: The Third year running back from Alabama finally cracked the 1000 yard mark last year, and the will need to have an even better year if the Titans want to improve on their 9-7 season from a year ago. Marcus Mariota has yet to live up to the hype that he had when he was drafted 2nd overall in 2015, so having a strong running attack becomes even more important to the teams success.

Up Next, we’ll look at the AFC West!
